An international, well-rounded investment banker, Pierre has close to 30 years of experience. He has led numerous M&A and Corporate Finance Transactions worldwide, and has experience with both large and mid-cap transactions.
Pierre spent 12 years as Managing Director at Rothschild & Co. in New York, previously having been with Bankers Trust in Paris and Paribas in London. Back in Paris, he headed M&A at Aforge Degroof.
Pierre is an alumni of Sciences Po Paris and Harvard Business School. He is fluent in French and English.
Thomas de Saint Leger

Thomas de Saint Leger has nearly 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions as an intermediary or as an investor.
He worked in Natixis’ M&A teams before joining Clinvest, where he led the New York business for five years. On his return, he joined the Crédit Agricole group at CACIB then at SODICA, where he was head of operations.
He left the banking world in 2008 to join Paprec, the French recycling leader, for whom he coordinated external growth on the occasion of the entry into the capital of the Arnault group. The company doubled its turnover in two years.
He then joined the Nexity group, where he was head of strategy and corporate development for five years. In 2016 he became CEO of PERL, a leading French real estate company, following its acquisition by Nexity. This rich and diverse experience has given him a deep knowledge of the real estate and industrial sectors. Thomas graduated from HEC.
Pierre Debray

A former member of Natixis' Senior Management Committee in charge of Risks, Pierre Debray has thirty years of experience in corporate and investment banking in France and abroad.
Pierre began his career in 1988 in New York at Crédit Lyonnais, then after 4 years in Paris he became CFO of the Brazilian subsidiary in Sao Paulo where he managed its sale to the Brazilian group Itaú.
He was then appointed Chief Credit Risk Officer for Credit Lyonnais Americas in New York before taking charge of the Europe network supervision in Paris. In 2001, he returned to New York as Head of the Latin America region for what would become Crédit Agricole CIB. Under his responsibility, CACIB reached in 2008 the top of League Tables as arranger of syndicated loans for Latin America. Pierre was also directly involved in cross-border M&A transactions in the region.
He joined Natixis in 2010 in Paris as head of asset and export finance, then joined in 2012 the Executive Committee as head of Global Finance, adding to his previous responsibilities the LBO, real estate, equity linked finance, and commodity finance business lines. He launched the "Originate to Distribute" strategy by developing syndication, and partnerships with non-bank investors, positioning the bank among the top of league tables in these markets in Europe.
As part of the 2017-2020 strategic plan, he oversees the CSR component of the plan, which creates a centralized CSR unit and dedicated teams within all of the bank's business lines.
In his role as Chief Risk Officer from 2017, he managed several crisis situations.
He has been a director of Natixis Assurance and Natixis Pfandbriefe.
He left Natixis in 2020 to create a company focused on improving the governance of financial institutions.
He is also currently a director of ABC Bank.
Pierre Debray is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and ENSAE (France). He holds a Master's degree from Stanford University in the United States.
Etienne Fournigault

Etienne has more than 4 years of experience in M&A.
He started his career in the strategic operations of Groupe BPCE, in charge of the acquisitions of fintech and insurtech companies
He worked on the disposal of Banco Primus and S-Money, the acquisitions of Depopass, Fidor Bank, Dalenys, and PayPlug, and the integration of Groupe BPCE into the Paylib joint venture.
He left BPCE to work with Haxo Finance and Swensee as an independent advisor on M&A transactions in France and Africa in the industrial and retail sectors. Etienne has been involved in about ten disposals and LBOs in small-cap transactions.
From these experiences, he has acquired a particular expertise in the financial and insurance sector as well as retail and industrial.
In June 2020, he joined Nemrod as an Associate.
Etienne graduated from Audencia Nantes.
Cyrille de Montgolfier
Founding partner
Having spent 20 years in the insurance industry, Cyrille previously was in charge of various French state-owned companies.
Cyrille spent 4 years as CEO of La Parisienne Assurance, after previously leading various departments for AXA in France and in Europe. Most notably he was the CEO of the CEE Region, Head of Public Affairs for the group and in charge of integrating Winterthur.
Cyrille has two degrees in Business Law and Public Law, and is an alumni of Sciences Po Paris and Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA). He is fluent in French and English.
Serge Capier

Having accumulated more than 20 years of experience in M&A advisory, Serge mainly spent his time in the healthcare and chemicals sectors.
He started his career at Société Générale in Brazil, before joining the commercial banking activities of Paribas in Paris in 1997. He moved to the Corporate Finance (M&A) department of BNP Paribas in 2000, where he was successively part of the Healthcare & Chemical team and the Industrials team (covering the Chemical and Engineering sectors). He headed the Chemical sector for EMEA region (Europe Middle-East Africa) between 2012 and 2017.
Serge then spent three years as Managing Director at FDC and created Capstan Corporate Finance (an independent M&A advisory firm) in 2020.
Serge graduated from ESCP Business School.
Sandrine Lemery
Senior Advisor
Sandrine Lemery is Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the French Pension Reserve Fund. She is also vice-president of the French Institute of Actuaries, member of the executive committee of the Alzheimer's foundation and board member of Insurlycare (Leocare Group)
Previously, she worked for 17 years as civil servant, in insurance prudential control administration, 12 years in central administration including Ministry cabinet.
She has notably been member of the French High Council for Economy from 2019 to 2020 and First Deputy Secretary General of the ACPR (French insurance and banking Prudential Supervisory Authority) from 2013 to 2018.
Sandrine is a graduate of Polytechnique and a former General Engineer of the Corps de Mines. Sandrine also graduated from Sciences Po Paris and is a certified actuary.
Romain Mory

Romain joined Nemrod in 2021.
He has 2 years of experience in investment banking, working as Private Equity Analyst at IRD and as M&A Analyst Intern at In Extenso Finance & Transmission.
